SEIU 1107 brings back the Communities United Multicultural Festival on Oct. 4, 2025, in Las Vegas, blending culture, food, and civic engagement ahead of Nevada’s pivotal 2026 elections.
LAS VEGAS, NV — SEIU Local 1107 announced the return of the “Communities United Multicultural Festival” on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Clark County Government Center Amphitheater. Now in its third year, the festival is expected to draw thousands in celebration of Southern Nevada’s cultural diversity while highlighting the power of civic engagement and community unity.
A celebration of culture and community
Organizers said more than 100 community organizations will take part in this year’s festivities, which include cultural performances, live music, art displays, a children’s zone, and a vendor marketplace featuring ethnic cuisine and locally made products.
“This festival brings together Nevada’s unions and communities across all backgrounds—race, immigration status, gender identity, and sexual orientation—to celebrate who we are and what we can achieve together,” SEIU 1107 said in its announcement.
The first 200 attendees will receive a $20 food voucher. The event is free, open to the public, and family-friendly.
Building momentum before the 2026 election
Beyond the performances and food, the festival carries added weight ahead of the 2026 election cycle, when Nevada is once again expected to play a decisive role nationally.
Organizers emphasized that the festival will feature voter registration and education efforts designed to mobilize union members, young people, and communities of color. Attendees will have opportunities to connect with organizations committed to boosting voter turnout and advancing policies aimed at ending poverty wages, fighting racial injustice, and promoting dignity and equity for all Nevadans.
“Together, we can celebrate our diversity while also building the civic strength needed for a brighter, more united future,” the union said.
