Philippine cager James Yap can’t contain his happiness and excitement about being a father again! Last Tuesday, August 9, James’ girlfriend, Italian Michela Cazzola gave birth to a healthy baby boy.
The couple decided to name their son Michael James.
In an interview with PEP.ph, James shared that he is thrilled to be a father again.
“Sobrang saya. Sobrang sarap. Dito na nga ako natutulog.”
Although it was a normal delivery, James said that Michela was in labor for 18 hours.
“Three nights din kami dito sa hospital, eh. Pumasok kami ng Saturday night [August 6], tapos nanganak siya, Monday, 6:55 p.m.”
The basketball player assured though that Michela and their son are safe.
As for marriage, James said that eventually it will happen, as he sees Michela is the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with. But he added that they are not in a hurry to get married.
“Yung pagpapakasal naman kasi nandiyan naman ‘yan, eh. Hindi naman kami nagmamadali. Focus muna kami sa baby.”

Actress Sunshine Dizon is still pushing on with the case against her estranged husband, Timothy Tan and his alleged mistress. For her, it’s not about anger and revenged, but fighting for herself, her children and doing the right thing.
“For my children and for them to understand na you just don’t bend down kung may mali. Ituwid ang mali, di ba? Ang kapatawaran, that will come,” she said in an interview with PEP.ph.
“We’ll see kung ano ang dapat nilang gawin, pero as of now, I did my best, I fought for my right. Kasi, they don’t want to have regret din in the end. Na bakit hindi ko dinemanda, bakit wala kang ginawa, bakit umupo ka lang. Yun nga, ilaban natin kung ano ang tama. Basta alam mong nasa tama ka, ilaban mo.”
She reiterated though that she does not feel anger nor hate towards her husband anymore. For her it’s more of pity and so she remains civil with him.
“You know, I’m trying my best to be civil with my husband dahil kahit anong gawin natin, tatay pa rin siya ng mga anak ko,” she shared. “And I will not show my children naman na disrespecting their father despite of what happened.”
Sunshine remains firm though, that she will not give her husband an annulment.
“No, I will not give them that. Siguro, the most I can give is legal separation. Pero annulment, no, never.
“Why would I give them the happiness to be together, di ba? They should pay for it.
“Some people nga are saying na parang naghahabol pa ako, no.
“No, no, no, that’s not true.
“Kung gusto ko pang makipagbalikan sa asawa ko, sana hindi ko siya idinemanda.”
Let’s hope that this matter between them gets resolved soon.
