It required son Nikko to obtain his green card and U.S. citizenship through marriage to his girlfriend, Joyce. Upon Nikko’s naturalization, he was able to petition for his parents, culminating in his parents receiving their green cards.
Julius and Amelita’s journey to legalization spanned 15 years and the use of the three P’s: Planning, patience, and prayer.
