THE Annual Nine-Hour Novena to the Infant Jesus of Prague will be held on Saturday January 27, 2024 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church located at 5011 White Oak Avenue, Encino CA 91316. This year’s theme is Blessed are the poor in Spirit for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 5:3)
eginning at 6:45 a.m., every hour after the novena prayer, and the recitation of the Chaplet to the Infant Jesus of Prague, different topics are presented by invited dynamic and inspirational speakers. This year’s invited speakers are Reverend Jonathon Meyer of Saint John’s Seminary in Camarillo, Reverend Joy Lawrence Santos of Saint Genevieve Parish in Panorama City, Reverend Kevin Rettig of Holy Angels Church in Arcadia, Reverend Jacob Hsieh of Mary, star of the Sea High School in San Pedro, Reverend Joseph Dass, Congregation of Salesians of Don Bosco, and Deacon Guillermo Bill Betancourt of Our Lady of the Valley Church in Canoga Park.
The very enlightening topics to be presented are based on Pope Francis’ Book, The Power of Forgiveness.
Lunch is provided and the Holy Mass is celebrated immediately after the Novena. A blessing of the Infant Jesus images and a blessing of children will take place in the mass.
