On behalf of Consul General Neil Ferrer, Vice Consul Adrian Baccay conveyed the Consulate’s greetings to the FANHS East Bay Chapter, led by its president Linda Canlas. FANHS co-founders Dr. Fred and Dr. Dorothy Cordova led the first commemoration of Filipino American History Month in 1992. Since then, U.S. federal, state and local governments have issued proclamations celebrating Filipino American History Month and recognizing the contributions of Fil-Ams in American society.
