SWS: 76% of Filipinos satisfied with Duterte administration

According to the Social Weather Stations’ (SWS) fourth-quarter survey, more Filipinos appear to be satisfied with the performance of the Duterte administration.

The poll, which was released on Monday, March 11, revealed 76 percent of adult Filipinos are satisfied with the work of the administration while nine percent said otherwise with a net satisfaction rating of +66 — an improvement from September of last year’s +50 rating, with 65 percent satisfied and 15 percent dissatisfied.

In Mindanao, the administration’s net satisfaction increased from +67 in September 2018 to +75 in December 2018. In Visayas, it went from +42 to +63; meanwhile, in Metro Manila, the satisfaction rating improved from +40 to +60.

The rating also rose by 17 points in balance Luzon, with +48 going up to +65.

The administration’s net satisfaction rating upgraded by two grades from good to excellent in class ABC, up by 25 points from +47 in September 2018 to +72 in December 2018.

It also rose by two grades from good to excellent in class E, from +49 to +70; meanwhile, it went up 15 points but remained very good in class D from +50 in September to +65 in December.

SWS’ survey, conducted from December 16 to 19 last year, employed face-to-face interviews of 1,440 adults, 18 years old and above, nationwide.
