CHARO Santos-Concio said in a recent interview that the shutdown of media giant ABS-CBN was traumatic for her, akin to losing a child.

“I couldn’t describe the pain when ABS-CBN was shut down. I felt so much pain and extreme sadness. That was very traumatic for me, as well, even if I am retired from the company,” she was quoted as saying in the Philippine Star interview.

Iniluwal mo, pinalaki mo, inaruga mo. Tapos nakita mo na pinatay at wala kang magawa. Helpless ka. Masakit. I’m still grieving,” she added.

In the same article, Charo revealed that she misses the brilliance of actor John Lloyd Cruz and that Piolo Pascual is her number one crush.

She was in the panel that saw a 13-year-old John Lloyd audition for ABS-CBN, and knew at that time that the actor would go places.

“There’s a certain intensity in him. He’s the kind of actor who gets into the zone.

Sometimes nga, nakaka-intimidate. He stays in the character. He is a professional. He’s an introvert. But if he trusts you, he will bare his soul to you. I love Lloydie. I miss him,” she said.

As for Piolo, Charo was very complimentary to one of showbiz’s
“The quality of Piolo that drew me to him? Madali siyang maka-gaangan ng loob. Mabait.

Gwapo talaga si Piolo. Aminin natin. Adonis,” she said.

Additionally, Charo is hoping that the reunion movie of Piolo with Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo will materialize.

“I will pray that the stars will align for their reunion movie to happen,” she said.

Wendell Ramos fully supports his son, Saviour, who will be seen in an episode of the “Unlocked” anthology of director Adolf Alix.

Although it cannot be helped to compare Saviour with his dad Wendell, the latter said in an interview with PEP.ph that he has advised his son to embrace his looks and be grateful for what God has given him in terms of physical looks.

Wendell related in the interview the words of advice he gave his son:

As long as you love yourself and naniniwala ka sa sarili mo. Dahil wala namang perpektong tao talaga.

“You have to be proud kung anong meron ka.

According to the same article, Wendell is currently involved with his many product endorsements and developing his foodline called Wendelli Meat Products. The Kapuso actor has also been keeping himself busy during the pandemic by having a wellness and fitness regimen that has kept him in shape.
