City of Carson E-Waste Recycling & Paper Shredding Event

8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. 

The City of Carson is hosting a free E-Waste Recycling and Paper Shredding Event for residents. Bring your old electronics and confidential documents to be securely disposed of and recycled.

Resident Guidelines and Limits

This event is free to Carson Residents; proof of residency is required.

Paper Shredding

• Limit: 2 file boxes or 2 small bags per resident.
• All paper will be shredded on site.
• Unacceptable: Books, 3-ring binders, metal clips, or magazines.

E-Waste Recycling

• Limit: 4 E-Waste items per household.
• Accepted Items: Televisions, computer monitors, laptops, tablets, cables/wires, cellphones, telephones, speakers, printers, fax machines, DVD players, and microwaves.
• Unacceptable: Hazardous waste, batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, and glass.
