It wasn’t just Kris Aquino and Ai-Ai delas Alas who patched things up during the wedding of Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera last December 30. Unknown to some, sexy star Katrina Halili and beauty guru Dr. Vicki Belo have reconciled as well.
Years ago, Katrina was one of the endorsers of the Belo Medical Group. During this time, the sexy star had an affair with Dr. Belo’s boyfriend, Hayden Kho. In fact, there was a video scandal of the two, as well as other girls Hayden was also involved with.
A lot has happened since the whole affair was discovered. Katrina left the Belo Medical Group and sued Hayden who got his medical licensed suspended. The sexy star later on got involved with R&B singer Kris Lawrence and had a daughter, Katrence. They are now separated.
Katrina happily shared how the reconciliation came about in an interview with PEP.ph during the autograph-signing for FHM last week. She said that it was after the bridal march when she saw Dr. Belo during the wedding. The beauty guru was a principal sponsor, while Katrina’s daughter was one of the flower girls.
After saying hello to Wilma Galvante, she also greeted Dr. Belo who was sitting beside the GMA 7 executive.
“…Nag-hi ako. ‘Hello po, happy new year,’ gumanun ako.
“Sabi niya, ‘Hi Kat, you look great!’
“Thank you po,’ sabi ko.
“’Anak mo?’ sabi niya.
‘”Yes,’ sabi ko.
“’Ang cute,’ sabi niya.”
Katrina also shared that she was already prepared about the possibility of seeing Vicki and Hayden at the wedding and has decided it was time to set their differences aside.
As for Hayden, the sexy star has said that she is ready to talk to him.
“Ready naman po ako. Feeling ko naman, parehas naman kaming okay na kami sa buhay namin, happy and…okay lang. Bakit naman magkaroon pa ng isnaban? Kailangan happy thoughts na lang.”

Miss Philippines Mary Jean “MJ” Lastimosa is now in Miami to represent the country in the 63rd Miss Universe on January 25 at the US Century Bank Arena, Florida. She flew there just after the holidays together with the other candidates to participate in various pre-pageant activities and promotions.
The pressure is on for MJ because since 2010 the country has been consistent in at least getting a runner up place. In 2010, Venus Raj became 4th runner up, Shamcey Supsup placed 3rd in 2011, Janine Tugonon as 1st runner up in 2012 and last year, Ariella Arida placed 3rd.
In an interview with 24 Oras before she left the Philippines MJ said, “I will try my very best. I had enough training to prepare me for the Miss Universe. I am feeling the pressure of many people expecting me to finally get the Miss Universe crown. But like what I said, I will do my very best. Please help me through prayers. “
A native of North Cotabato, Mindanao; MJ joined Binibining Pilipinas three times before she landed the Miss Philippines-Universe crown. She is a businesswoman and owns a fitness/spa center in Davao City.
