CONGRATULATIONS to the newly married award-winning actor Jericho Rosales and Filipino-British TV host/model Kim Jones! The couple tied the knot in an intimate garden wedding at the Shangri-La Resort in the beautiful island of Boracay last May 1.
There were actually three venues for Echo and Kim’s special day. First was the garden for the ceremony, then cocktails at the Cielo Open Air Resto, then the beachfront for the dinner and program.
Kim and Echo met through friends and have been together since 2011. The actor proposed to Kim last year, during the Sunday service of their church, the New Life Church in Alabang.
The couple’s family and closest friends were among the guests during their wedding, including celebrities like singer Gary Valenciano and wife Angeli Pangilinan-Valenciano, their children Kiana, Paolo and Gab, singer Jed Madela, Jay-R, Iya Villana-Arellano, Donita Rose, Piolo Pascual and Coney Reyes.
Coney Reyes, Gary V, Star Magic head Johnny Manahan and TV production head Laurenti Dyogi were among the principal sponsors.

Speaking of Boracay, there were other star sightings (aside from Kim and Echo’s wedding) over the Labor Day weekend craziness. Among them are actress Andi Eigenmann and actor Jake Ejercito, fueling more fire for wagging tongues on whether they are a couple or not.
The two have been linked to each other since 2011, but either has yet to confirm the real status of their relationship. But the signs are there – the actress has been very vocal of her love for Jake, and the two have been seen together in trips they have made in the Philippines and abroad. And of course, there was that weekend where they have been spotted being “cozy” with each other.
As much as it seems to be going well for the two, recent reports have come out saying that Andi was not on good terms with the Ejercito clan. She has also been linked to former child star Tom Taus, brother of actress Antoinette Taus, who have just returned to the Philippines after living in the US for quite some time. Andi refutes the rumors and claimed that she and Tom are just childhood friends.
Some of the apparent disapproval of the Ejercito side may have stemmed to Andi’s reputation as a “play girl,” her controversial past involving an unexpected pregnancy and the denial of the supposedly father of her child, young actor Albie Casino.
We’ll see what happens next—if Jake and Andi are really a couple or not!
