They’re too close for comfort many observers say, but singer Erik Santos said that he does not want to put a label on his relationship with singer-actress Angeline Quinto.
The two didn’t deny either that they’re special to each other, but Angeline said that she is not yet ready to be in a relationship.
“We take our time and whatever we have right now, sobra po kaming komportable kung anong mayron kami ngayon,” Erik said in an interview with The Philippine Star. “Ayaw naming ma-mislead ‘yong mga tao na hindi naman talaga kami pero sasabihin namin kami. Kumbaga, sobra lang kaming masaya kapag magkasama and sobra kaming komportable.”
Erik also added that he understands that Angeline want to concentrate on her career and help her family more.

Another actor who is happy with his personal life is Derek Ramsay, who is hoping that his relationship with non-showbiz girlfriend Joanne Villablanca will be a “happy ending.”
“Right now, I’m very, very, happy, so huwag nating i-jinx,” he said in an interview with Pep.ph during a presscon for his mini-series, Wattpad Presents Unwanted Girlfriend with Jasmine Curtis-Smith.
“Sana yung 2015, ‘eto na yung taon na all my lucky stars will align. Sana hindi ma-jinx…you know, my past relationship, six years, and then it didn’t go and have a happy ending,” he explained and added, “So I want this to have a happy ending. Meaning to say, ano na ito, panghabambuhay na talaga, di ba? It’s very hard with me balancing my schedule, balancing time with my family and her. But the great thing here is she’s understanding of what I do, she gets along with my family, and she’s very patient.”
Joanne, who does commercial modeling for Philippine Airlines, also has a daughter. Derek believes that that there is nothing wrong with that, explaining that it’s part of who she is.
“There is nothing wrong kung meron na siyang daughter. For me, it’s not less attractive, for me, it’ more attractive,” the actor said. “It gives a woman a more sense of responsibility and I like how she balance her time for her daughter and for me.”
Derek also has a 13-year-old son, Austin.
