MANILA — Actress and former beauty queen Franki Russell has addressed circulating photos linking her to Enrique Gil, while firmly denying allegations that she was involved in the reported breakup between Alexa Miro and Sandro Marcos.

The images, taken during a trip to Bohol and widely shared online, prompted speculation about a possible relationship between Russell and Gil. In interviews carried by multiple Philippine entertainment outlets, Russell clarified that the trip was a group outing, not a private getaway, and said both she and Gil were accompanied by friends.

She acknowledged that she and Gil had a brief “talking stage” in the past but said the connection did not progress into a relationship. Russell added that they remained on friendly terms and emphasized that she is not currently pursuing a romantic relationship.

Russell also rejected claims linking her to the breakup between Miro and Marcos, which stemmed from statements made publicly in 2025.

“That never happened. It is not true,” Russell said, according to published interviews.

She clarified that while she and Marcos may share overlapping social circles, they have not been in contact in recent years and do not have a personal relationship beyond acquaintanceship. She also disputed the timeline referenced in the allegation, stating that any interaction cited occurred years earlier and does not align with the period described.

As of this writing, neither Gil nor Marcos has released a detailed public statement addressing the recent speculation.
