Emirates airline and Luzon International Premiere Airport Development Corp., (LIPAD), the operator and manager of Clark International Airport (CRK), recently treated industry and business highflyers to a golf tournament at the Mimosa Plus Golf Course inside the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga.

Emirates, one of the world’s best international airlines, and the Luzon International Premiere Airport Development Corp., (LIPAD) hosted the sporting event to celebrate Emirates’ 10 years of operation in CRK.

Golfers from top trade partners and external stakeholders joined the hunt for birdies and eagles on Mimosa’s fairways right in the shadow of Mt. Pinatubo.

Leading the ceremonial tee off in the invitational last Oct. 4, 2023 were LIPAD President and CEO Noel Manankil and Emirates Country Manager Saeed Miran. With them were Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) Chair Delfin Lorenzana, BCDA President and CEO Jake Bingcang, Emirates Cargo Manager Amer Alzarooni, Presidential Envoy to the UAE Norman Wee, LIPAD head of operations Dante Basanta, Quickflo Forwarders Vice President Ding Kalinga and Manila Jockey Club President King Reyno.

The golf tournament had the full support of the event’s partners: Filinvest Mimosa+ Leisure City, Quest Plus Conference Center, Clark, Royce Hotel & Casino, Pradera Verde, Clark Development Corporation, Hann Resorts, Swissotel Clark, Clark Marriott Hotel, Plaza Premium Lounge, Balikbayan Magazine, and Asian Journal.
