Fr. James B. Reuter, SJ immortalized in portrait

Fr. James B. Reuter, SJ, a Jesuit beloved by generations of Paulinians from St. Paul Manila, has been immortalized in an oil portrait by award winning Filipina painter, Pamela Isabel Echevarria. Father passed away in Our Lady of Peace Hospital on 31 December 2012 at the age of 96.
Ms. Echevarria, who spent her grade school days in SPCM, came from Spain, where she is based, to turn over the painting to Sr. Lilia Thérèse L. A professional artist for 25 years, Isabel has had numerous exhibits in Asia, Spain, and the United States. A 2004 Orensanz awardee, she constantly participates in various shows in mainstream galleries of Manhattan and Washington DC. Recognized artistically in Manila since 1981, she appears in several published books of Contemporary Filipino Art and her portraits hang in several museums and state offices in the Philippines.
