DALY CITY – The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco conducted a presentation on consular services for Filipino American residents of San Mateo County, as part of an educational session organized by the Pilipino Bayanihan Resource Center (PBRC) on October 21, 2023.
Consul Jed Llona and Assistance-to-Nationals (ATN) Officer Nida Longcanaya were on hand to share information on the Consulate’s consular services, and directly answer questions from the public. Information on the Consulate’s services namely passport, dual citizenship, civil registration, notarials, Philippine visa, overseas voting registration and ATN, including how to avail of these services and general requirements, were discussed.
After the session, PBRC Board chair Perla Ibarrientos, president Dorie Paniza, and vice president Michael Pangilinan thanked Consul Llona and ATN Officer Longcanaya for serving as resource persons during the educational session.
On behalf of Daly City Mayor Ray Buenaventura, Vice Mayor Juslyn Manalo and Councilmember Rod Daus-Magbual, the PBRC presented a Certificate of Recognition to the Consulate.
The PBRC is a non-profit, community-based organization located in Daly City, which provides services and community education for residents of San Mateo County. It works directly with local governments to connect Filipino Americans requiring public services.
