Raymond Lauchengco: Walking on Sunshine 

When in love or brokenhearted, who would not want to hear the voice of Raymond Lauchengco? His hits are the “hugot” songs of the 80’s. They will either make you cry, reminisce, or fall in love all over again.  His big hits include, “So it’s you,” “I need you back,” “Kapag puso’y sinugatan,” “Saan Darating ang umaga,” and of course, every high school graduating class’ national anthem: ”Farewell.”

Raymond first entered show business at the age of 12. He became a part of the Repertory Philippines’ staging of the “King and I.” He then established his name in the Theater Industry as he continued to star in various musicals, “The Sound of Music,” “Romeo & Juliet,” and “South Pacific” to name a few.

A heartthrob at 18, he moved on to explore mainstream showbiz and was chosen to be one of the five male leads of the movie, “Bagets.” He was then considered the hottest teen idol of the 80’s.

As an actor, Lauchengco appeared in nine movies and 20 stage productions. He was also a part of the youth-oriented variety show “That’s Entertainment” hosted by German Moreno.  As a performing artist, he became the Philippines’ representative to the prestigious Tokyo Music Festival in 1987.  He has released over seven recording albums and has done numerous concerts around the world.

On June 2, 2018, come and be serenaded by Raymond Lauchengo as he sings to you his greatest hits that will surely make you fall in love all over again, in a concert entitled “Walking on Sunshine.” Catch him at the Levo Entertainment Center 2070 Floyd St. Burbank, CA. 91504. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Part of the proceeds from this concert will be for the Family of the Filipino Pastors and Missionaries. This event is made possible by the JIR Foundation.
