Philippine Overseas Labor Office in Los Angeles invites Filipino Community Leaders to the First Leaders’ Forum

The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles (PCG-LA), spearheaded by the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), in cooperation with the Filipino-American Community of Los Angeles (FACLA) cordially invite the Filipino Community for a Leaders’ Forum to be held on 17 November 2022, 4 o’clock in the afternoon at the FACLA Auditorium located at 1740 W Temple St. Los Angeles, California.

This activity will highlight the functions of the PCG-LA Labor Section, particularly the overseas employment program and its welfare services, including the OWWA programs and services for our Filipino migrants.

It also aims to reach out and have partnership with the Filipino Communities in California thereby sharing the common objective of providing assistance to our Kababayans living and working in the USA.  POLO-LA firmly believes that the Filipino Community will play a big role in fulfilling this objective.  This is going to be a significant undertaking and forging of cooperation among the Filipino Communities may be a good take-off for a partnership with the Philippine government agencies present in the State.

Consul General Edgar B. Badajos will be gracing this special occasion.
