SAN FRANCISCO – Consul General Neil Ferrer attended the kick-off ceremony for San Francisco’s hosting of the 2023 APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting (AELM) to be held in the city in November 2023.
The launch of San Francisco’s hosting called, “APEC SF23,” was held at the prestigious Asian Art Museum. The event marked the official start of preparations for the highly anticipated 2023 AELM to be held at Moscone Center.
According to Mayor Breed, San Francisco is proud to be chosen as the host city for the AELM, which will bring together representatives from 21 APEC member economies, which account for a substantial portion of the global population and international trade.
AELM is seen as a crucial platform for government officials, business leaders, and stakeholders to engage in constructive dialogues on pressing economic issues and explore opportunities for sustainable growth. |(PCGSF Release)
