The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco, represented by Consul Rowena Pangilinan-Daquipil and Assistance to Nationals Officer Leonida Longcanaya, attended the White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (WHIAANHPI) Region 9 Northern California Regional Network Open House on May 15, 2024 at the Phillip Burton Federal Building in San Francisco.

The meeting featured Commissioner Kapana Kotagal, of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and was attended by various service providers from the City and County of San Francisco, as well as from the various federal agencies represented in the Regional Network.
