Philippine Consul General Neil Ferrer joined visiting Philippine cultural official Carlo Ebeo in meeting with top officials of the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco on February 16, 2024, to explore potential partnerships that will promote and preserve Philippine culture and history in the Bay Area.
Consul General Ferrer also viewed the current Philippine displays at the museum’s Southeast Asia Gallery, including the Manobo burial urns and an Our Lady of Immaculate Conception image.
The Asian Art Museum is one of only two Asian art museums in continental United States, the other is the National Museum of Asian Art in Washington, D.C.
