The two sides expressed intent in collaborating on future programs and activities, including the conduct of forums on Philippine biodiversity, as well as in pushing for the renewal of Memorandums of Understanding between the California Academy of Sciences and partner institutions in the Philippines.

Dr. Terrence Gosliner has been instrumental in developing the Philippine Coral Reef exhibition at the California Academy of Sciences. He also has extensive experience in building collaborations to support sustainable management and conservation of the rich reefs of the Philippines. Dr. Gosliner is also a champion of educational outreach, particularly in the Philippines, where he has worked with local researchers, educators and community leaders to share knowledge and resources with locals, empowering them to prioritize conservation in Philippine waters rich with biodiversity.
