Las Vegas, NV — Filipino Town Las Vegas will host a town hall meeting on February 28, 2025 at +6350 FIL-AM CENTRAL starting at 5:30 p.m.
Filipino Town Cultural District is a cultural designation which highlights the historic influence of Filipinos on the social, economic, and cultural aspects of that area. Filipino Town Cultural District is known to host flagship events in the Filipino community.
The proposed area for the cultural designation is along Maryland Parkway between Flamingo Road and Desert Inn Road. The area is home to some of the most recognized Filipino retail, restaurant and medical and professional brands.
The officers and board members will also be part of the panel to discuss their roles in guiding Filipino Town Las Vegas in its efforts to attain a cultural designation aimed at celebrating the vibrant Filipino culture in Las Vegas as well as helping to promote businesses in its proposed area along Maryland Parkway, from Flamingo to Desert Inn Road.
All community organizations and individuals with interest in Filipino Town Las Vegas are invited. The Town Hall will be videotaped and streamed LIVE on Filipino Town Las Vegas’s Facebook page.

Filipino Town will be an agenda item during the Paradise Town Advisory Board meeting starting at 7 p.m. The officers and board of directors of Filipino Town Las Vegas invite community leaders and members to attend this meeting to show their support. The Paradise TAB meeting is one of the pathways to the Board of Clark County Commissioners in March when the Filipino Town Las Vegas committee will make another presentation before final resolution in April.

After the Paradise Town Advisory Board meeting, other milestones include the second Clark County Commissioners Meeting on March 18, the second Filipino Town Las Vegas Hearing / Clark County Commissioners Meeting on March 28, and the final commissioners Meeting on April 15.
