Jessica Nafarrete Pontillas to be crowned Queen at BPCA’s 35th Anniversary Celebration

The Bani Pangasinan-California Association (BPCA) will be hosting its 35th Anniversary Celebration and Miss BP-CA Coronation Ball on August 31, 2013, at the elegant Marriott South Bay in Torrance, CA.

Started in 1978, BPCA has now grown to include over 700 members from across the state of California and the world over. The members come from all walks of life and professions, but are united in their commitment to the improvement and well-being of their beloved hometown of Bani, Pangasinan.

During her tenure as President, Gresil Camarillo Reyes has focused on engaging the youth, strengthening the camaraderie among BPCA’s members, and fostering a deeper sense of community. This year, BPCA also hosted the Miss Bani pageant, which also serves as a fundraiser for BPCA’s community projects. In the past, the funds collected from the dinner and raffle ticket sales have been used to sponsor educational scholarships for deserving students and to provide medical assistance and disaster relief. Plans for the use of this year’s proceeds include the learning center for the children of Bani and a public restroom in the main plaza.

This grand reunion will feature the coronation of the incoming Queen and Royal Court by the outgoing Miss BP-CA 2010-2012, Queen Laurissa Ann R. Nieto. Incoming Queen Jessica Nafarrete Pontillas, 1st Princess Nicole Ann Valle, and 2nd Princess Brittany Rose Medard will be commended for their successful fundraising efforts, the active officers will be recognized, and General Francisco Manalo, Jr. (Ret.) will be the distinguished guest speaker for the night.

If you are interested in attending BPCA’s 35th Anniversary and Coronation Ball Grand Reunion, please contact BPCA President Gresil Camarillo Reyes at (951) 505-8017. Dinner tickets are $70 and doors open at 6pm.
