First Ballot Counting Update for the June 3, 2014 Statewide Direct Primary Election

Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) Dean C. Logan announced the first ballot counting update for the June 3, 2014 Statewide Direct Primary Election.

The update includes 19,246 ballots processed since Election Night, consisting of Vote by Mail ballots.

Please note these results are subject to change throughout the canvass period. The second ballot counting update is on Tuesday, June 10 at 1 p.m.

The official election canvass period began on June 4 and ends on July 1. During the official canvass, all outstanding ballots will be verified and tallied. The RR/CC will also conduct a 1% manual audit.

On June 30, the RR/CC is scheduled to certify the election results. On July 1, the L.A. County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to declare the election results official.
