On Saturday, October 5, the California Republican Party will continue strengthening ties with California’s fastest growing ethnic group in it’s third Asian Pacific American Roundtable at the California Republican Party Convention.
Spurred by the leadership of Board of Equalization Vice Chair Michelle Steel and California Republican Party Vice Chair Harmeet Dhillon, more than two dozen locally elected APA Republicans will join together with party leaders to discuss ways to keep the party moving forward.
“We have made great progress in the past year,” Michelle Steel said. “Together with Jim Brulte, Harmeet Dhillon, and Reince Priebus at the RNC, we have been able to reach further than ever before. On October 5, we will continue building our strength in these communities by learning from APA Republicans who have done the hard work of getting elected to local governments across the state.”
Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus and CRP Chairman Jim Brulte have shown their commitment to expanding the party’s reach by hiring a dedicated team to connect Republican leaders with APA communities in California and across the country.
The APA Republican Roundtable is scheduled for Saturday, October 5, from 10:00am to noon during the California Republican Party Convention in room California B at the Hitlon Anaheim Hotel, 777 W Convention Way, Anaheim, CA 92802.
