Several member hotels of the Philippine Hotel Owners Association (PHOA) received awards across different categories during the World Travel Awards (WTA) Asia and Oceania Gala Ceremony 2023 held on September 6, 2023 at the GEM Center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The WTA is the travel industry’s most prestigious awards programme, rewarding leaders in the tourism, airline, hotel and hospitality sectors around the world. Based on public votes and validated by travel professionals, the awards are given annually to acknowledge excellence in the different sectors of the global travel and tourism industry.

PHOA is a non-stock, non-profit association composed of hotel owners, investors and developers. Its advocacy is anchored on government policies, membership satisfaction, training and education, organization and standards setting. It currently has over 200 member hotels all over the country.
