(Part 3 of 3)
AFTER assessing and taking note of your successes and failures, it’s time to contemplate.

Where to now?

Take another blank sheet of paper and look at the whiteness. There is nothing written on the blank sheet. Gaze on the emptiness. Meditate and ponder. What do you want written on this blank piece of paper?

Now rewrite your goals for the next 10 years of your life. More questions may come up in your mind as you do this activity. Am I where I am supposed to be right now or did I even get near to the goals I set 10 years ago?  Where to now?

Your thoughts may settle on relationships — the good and the bad ones. Review each one of them. Do you let go of people who eat up your energies or become parasites, clinging on to the last exposed skin you have?  Do you keep the ones who seem to really care?

Should you start again or simply take another turn to avoid bumps along the way? Do you change jobs or stick to where you currently are but change the approach to situations surrounding you?

Are you happy? Do you feel the mediocrity of things? Or do you simply exist and move without a specific goal, no specific direction in life?

It will made you think really hard. Now make up your mind and start rewriting your goals.
But first, discard the negative. GO LIGHTEN UP YOUR LOAD. EMPTY YOUR BAGGAGES. MAKE YOUR JOURNEY LIGHTER.

Make peace with those who have hurt you. Forgive but never forget the lessons it has taught you. Make them your inspiration, of what not to be.

Some hurtful situations cannot be avoided and there is always a chouce on how they can be tackled. Some can be resolved peacefully while the others may be left untouched. You will always have that choice. The choice to move and do something about your life or the choice not to effect change and simply not do anything.

Tell yourself to let go of what doesn’t serve the highest purpose and let God take over.
Now GO PUSH THAT BUTTON and RESET. REWRITE YOUR LIFE MISSION. Take that pen and rewrite everything.  Start anew.

In one column, reconfigure what you want to change in the way you look or your lifestyle. In another column, focus on relationships and people around you.

Then reassess your work, career or business. Lastly, about your spirituality. What else do you need to do to undertake your life’s mission or be closer to God? Go over everything and make changes if you have to.

Then bring out the first paper you wrote your failures and disappointments on, get an old plate and a box of matches.

Ready? Now let us begin to do the ritual of CHANGE. Close your eyes and breathe in and out for seven counts. As you breathe in, you inhale peace and exhale all the negativity inside you.

Inhale…Exhale…seven counts
Say these affirmations in your head:
I am a being of light and nothing can penetrate my peace.
I am a conscientious person and balance the good and the bad.
I am fair. I am just. I am honest.
I am full of gratitude in my heart.
I am humble and kind.
I am full of love… I am love.
I am with God.
Then take the paper where all the negativity was written and burn them.
While burning, say these:
I let go of all that has hurt and caused me suffering.
I send love to those who pained me.
I’m sorry, please forgive me, thank you and I love you.
All is well. All is forgiven. Peace.
