Trump, Republicans in Congress give companies that steal their workers’ wages a gift

AS the news gets inundated with headlines about the failed Trumpcare and the ongoing muddled investigation on the alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, President Donald Trump signed a bill into law that will end Obama-era regulation that protects ordinary folks from unscrupulous employers from abusing and neglecting them.
Under the Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces Rule, companies who have outrageously been stealing hard earned money from their employees by not paying them the right wages, and companies who do not follow safety laws at the expense of their workers, would lose their government contracts if they did not comply with labor laws.
Unfortunately, Trump and the Republicans in Congress do not believe in this, and side with businesses who say these regulations are excessive and are job killers. They argue that the Obama rule was too punitive and unfair to businesses.
When Trump signed this bill into law, he made sure that the regulation would not only die, but also that no similar regulation could be imposed by the Labor Department again.
Who are the real winners here? Is this law good for American workers or the millionaires and billionaires and greedy businessmen?
