Time to make history in San Mateo County by electing the first Fil-Am judge, Ray Buenaventura

THIS coming June 3, 2014, the Filipinos in San Mateo County will have a chance to make history by electing one of their own as a Judge in San Mateo County.
Recent census numbers indicate that Filipinos is one of the largest Asian groups in California with a population of over 1.5 million. Daly City is the largest city in San Mateo County and boasts the largest Filipino population of any city in the United States. The Filipino voting block can be influential and effective, if only our people would vote.
The only way we as Filipinos can ever have any real power and influence is by voting. We’ve proven our effectiveness by aggressively campaigning for District Elections in San Mateo County.
As one of the lead plaintiff’s in the lawsuit that brought District Elections to San Mateo County, I urge you to be just as involved in voting for Ray Buenaventura for Judge. He is highly qualified and cares about the community. Ray has been a lawyer for more than 20 years and has a wealth of experience in the courts. He’s been a law professor and founding director of Peer Court and has recently completed a successful term as Mayor of Daly City. I implore all our kababayans to vote for Ray Buenaventura for Judge on June 3, 2014. He will make us all proud.
