On the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord

This Sunday, We Celebrate the Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord! As we gather to honor this special day, we’re reminded that the Baptism of Jesus marked the beginning of His ministry—a mission to bring hope, healing, and life to all people, especially the poor and the struggling. It’s a powerful moment that also invites us to reflect on our own calling as missionary disciples of Christ.

As we step into this new year, let’s embrace our mission to share faith, hope, and love with those around us—not just through words, but through the way we live our lives. In a world that can feel disconnected from faith, we are called to be lights in the darkness, showing strength and trust in God even in the face of challenges.

This year, let’s surrender our plans, dreams, and struggles to Jesus, trusting Him to guide us. When others see our faith in action—our resilience, our joy, and our unwavering hope—they’ll be inspired to seek the same peace and strength that comes from believing in Him.

Here at Incarnation, we’re excited for what’s ahead as we prepare for the centennial of our parish. This isn’t just about physical improvements—it’s about spiritual renewal, growing together as a community of faith, and shining God’s light far beyond Glendale. Together, we can make this year one of transformation, connection, and deeper faith.

So, as we celebrate this Feast Day, let’s recommit ourselves to living out our faith boldly and joyfully. May this year be filled with blessings, growth, and opportunities to share God’s love with others.

Wishing you all a happy, prosperous, and faith-filled New Year! God bless you!
