You’re Invited: 2025 Memorial of Jesus’ Death

April 12

A Special Evening of Reflection and Hope – Saturday, April 12, 2025

Las Vegas, Nevada— On Saturday, April 12, 2025, Jehovah’s Witnesses around the world will host a peaceful and respectful event to commemorate the death of Jesus Christ — and everyone is invited.

Known as the Memorial of Jesus’ Death, this free annual gathering is based on Jesus’ own command to his followers: “Keep doing this in remembrance of me.” — Luke 22:19. It is the most important occasion of the year for Jehovah’s Witnesses, but it is also meant for the entire community — regardless of religious background or belief.

Who can come?
Everyone. Families, friends, and individuals from all walks of life are welcome. No membership or prior attendance is required.

What will happen at the Memorial?
The one-hour program will include a Bible-based talk that explains why Jesus’ sacrifice matters — and how it brings hope for the future. The event begins and ends with a song and prayer, and is designed to be respectful, comforting, and uplifting.

Earlier that same week, a separate Special Bible Talk will be held featuring a 30-minute message followed by an interactive audience discussion of a Bible topic. It’s another great opportunity to explore spiritual topics in a relaxed setting.
