COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT – Carson’s Country Western Fair returns Sept. 25 with live music, drone light show

Free community celebration at Dominguez Park will feature Steven Cortez, Texas Tornado Tradition and a custom aerial light display

CARSON, Calif. — The City of Carson will hold its annual Country Western Fair on Friday, Sept. 25, at Dominguez Park, bringing together live country music, Western traditions and a drone light show in a free community celebration.

Gates open at 5 p.m. at Dominguez Park, 21330 S. Santa Fe Ave., Carson. Admission is free and open to the public.

The event celebrates the region’s ranching heritage while combining traditional Western entertainment with contemporary attractions, according to the city.

California country performer Steven Cortez will headline the main stage with his retro-country sound. He will be joined by Texas Tornado Tradition, which will perform a selection of Western music.

The evening will conclude with a custom-choreographed drone light show above the park. The city said the Country Western Fair is the only special event hosted at a Carson city park to feature such an aerial light display.

Residents, families and visitors are invited to attend the celebration and enjoy an evening highlighting Carson’s Western and ranching roots.
