Claudine, Raymart now live separate lives

AND just when you thought that the controversy about of the Barretto family has died down (a bit), a new one will surely come out.  True enough, just recently, actress Claudine Barretto confirmed and her husband, actor Raymart Santiago has left their home.

In an interview with GMA-7 last July 8 during the post-birthday celebration of their adopted daughter Sabina, Raymart’s absence was noticed by the guests.  When asked if the actor knew about the party, Claudine said he does but added that Raymart has not tried to reach out to their daughter.

Claudine has also revealed she and her husband have been living separately for months now, and she does not know where Raymart is staying at the moment.  She also shared that they are still trying to work out their problems, as well as talk about what their children need.

What is most intriguing however, is Claudine’s mention of a video of her and children taped by Raymart.  Although she did not elaborate about the content of the said video, the actress said that if it does shows up, it would be from Raymart’s camp and not hers.  She also added that the incident traumatized her and their kids.

Until now, Raymart has refused to make any statements or comments about Claudine’s interview.

We hope that Raymart and Claudine be able to fix their marriage, but if not, here’s praying that they would be able to remain friends and civil for the sake of their children.

Actress Rica Peralejo has joyfully revealed that she is going to be a mother soon.  Married to Joe Bonifacio, Rica shared that she is expected to give birth sometime in January 2014.

Rica wrote the announcement on her June 5 blog, 6 Weeks and 3 Days Old, “A day before going to the doctor to check if I really was pregnant, I already did the home pregnancy test twice. Both times came out positive. I couldn’t believe it. I mean isn’t it is always a wonder, a puzzle, a mystery, how we can carry miracles inside of our bodies!?!?! What a privilege!”

The actress has been married for three years with husband Joe, is currently a little over 10 weeks pregnant.  She shared that although she has no cravings yet, she is exceptionally hungry at odd hours and always sleepy.

Rica started out a child star, and was part of Ang TV, ABS-CBN’s popular youth-oriented show.  During her early teens, she moved to rival network GMA Network’s teen drama, TGIS.  She then moved back to Channel 2 and was casted in the teen series Gimik.

She became a noted actress with ABS-CBN’s teleseryes such as Mula sa Puso, Marinella and Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay; as well as sitcoms like Palibhasa Lalaki, Oki Doki Doc and OK Fine Whatever.  Later on she moved on with daring roles in such movies Balahibong Pusa and Tatarin.

Seemingly looking for some change in her life, Rica turned to God and later on married Joe, who is a pastor.  She is currently a lifestyle columnist for The Manila Bulletin and an active member of the Victory Christian Fellowship Philippines.
