MANILA — Actor Gerald Anderson has opened a second resort property in Zambales, expanding his presence in the Philippines’ domestic tourism sector while maintaining an active screen career.

Anderson announced the launch of “Trivera,” a riverfront resort in Cabangan, Zambales, through a post on his verified social media account on April 8. He described the project as one he helped develop “from the ground up,” emphasizing a focus on design and guest experience.

The property follows his earlier beach resort in Botolan, Zambales, which opened in 2020 and was later expanded to include campsite accommodations. No investment figures or operational details have been publicly disclosed.

Expansion in a growing destination

Zambales has seen increased interest from domestic travelers seeking less developed coastal and nature-based destinations. Riverfront concepts such as Trivera offer an alternative to traditional beachfront resorts, aligning with broader shifts toward experiential and outdoor-oriented tourism.

Career and business trajectory

Anderson first gained national recognition through Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition in 2006, launching a long-running career with ABS-CBN. He rose to prominence through high-rating television projects, including a widely followed on-screen partnership with Kim Chiu, and later transitioned into action-oriented roles requiring physical training.

In parallel, he has pursued entrepreneurship, with hospitality ventures in Zambales forming a central part of his business portfolio. He is also known to participate in endurance sports, including triathlons.

Ongoing television work

Anderson currently appears in the drama series Blood vs Duty alongside Richard Gutierrez, Bela Padilla, Barbie Imperial, and Baron Geisler.
