On October 19, 2024 – A very successful Filipino American History Month (FAHM) and EXPO2024 Cultural Celebration was co-hosted by the Filipino American Business Association of Glendale (FABAG-GLAC) and Incarnation Church Filipino Ministry. The event was held at the Incarnation Church Auditorium in Glendale.
Full support and attendance from the LA Philippine Consulate Consul Francis Maleon, Glendale Officials and Councilmembers Dan Brotman, Vartan Gharpetian and City Clerk Suzie Abajian. Glendale Police and Fire Departments were also represented, Legislative Offices – Senator Anthony J. Portantino, Assemblymember Laura Friedman / Anthony Maloof, State Attorney General Rob Bonta / COS Jessica Caloza, GCC Board of Trustee Pres. Desiree Portillo, BM Armine Hacopian, Rotary Club HiFi and many, many more showed in support!
The Auditorium was filled with positive and lively energy. Performers included Pakaraguian Kulintang Ensemble (Ube Arte), MoTHER FYS, Philippine Tourism videos, Paulist Productions, etc. THANK YOU to many Donors, Sponsors, Vendors and FABAG-GLAC Officers, Board and Members – Jo Solomonson, Mary Joy Garcia, May Mallari, Ami Bautista, Josephine Inacay, Renee Rasper, Emett Carr, Robert Howard, Arleen Lapid Penaflor, Editha Maniquis Fuentes and more. One highlight of the Program was giving “Thank You and Honoring” those community members who have continuously helped and supported FABAG.
