A one-day convergence of standout chefs, cult-favorite restaurants, and streetwear heavyweights

Family Style Food Festival, the cultural event that brings together the worlds of food, fashion, and community, returns home to Los Angeles on Saturday, September 13 at The Los Angeles State Historic Park. Known for its ability to merge culinary innovation with the creative energy inspired by LA’s youth culture, the festival will once again bring together an international roster of some of the most exciting chefs, restaurants, designers, and creators for a singular experience. This year the vision gets even bolder with the appointment of globally celebrated artist and designer VERDY as the festival’s Creative Director.

Known for his iconic characters and instantly recognizable artwork, VERDY will shape the festival’s creative identity—bringing limited-edition merchandise, visual storytelling, and immersive moments to the one-day event. His appointment follows a growing legacy of cultural collaborators including Angelo Baque, Keith Lee, Pokémon, and Kerwin Frost, all of whom have helped define Family Style’s distinct point of view.

This year’s lineup balances returning favorites with exciting new additions. Family Style fan favorites like Howlin’ Ray’s, Jon & Vinny’s, and the Michelin-starred Kato make their return to the festival, continuing their longstanding connection to Family Style. Newcomers include Bell’s, the Michelin-starred Los Alamos bistro widely regarded as one of California’s best restaurants, and Marathon Burger—the hottest newcomer on the burger scene from the family of the late Nipsey Hussle. Expanding its reach beyond city limits, Family Style also welcomes Bettina from Santa Barbara, The Dutchess from Ojai, and Potluck Club—the cult-favorite Cantonese restaurant making its way from New York.

Thanks to VERDY’s creative direction, the festival will also host one of its most anticipated international appearances to date: Curry Up, the Tokyo curry shop founded by streetwear pioneer NIGO, will pop up in Los Angeles for the very first time. Known for its flavorful takes on Japanese comfort food and deep ties to fashion culture, its debut adds a rare, global layer to this year’s culinary experience.

Join us on September 13th for a celebration of creation, collaboration, and community. Experience the best brands, restaurants, and chefs coming together to serve up limited, exclusive food and merchandise items that you won’t find anywhere else. Tickets on sale now: FamilyStyleFest.com.
