Cristine Reyes engaged to former NYC chair Gio Tingson

The actress shared the engagement on Instagram with photos showing her ring and the caption, “Every timeline led here. Endgame unlocked.”

MANILA — Actress Cristine Reyes is engaged to Gio Tingson, a former chairperson of the National Youth Commission, after sharing photos that publicly marked the couple’s engagement.

Reyes posted a series of images on Instagram showing her with Tingson, including a photo in which she displayed an engagement ring. Her caption read, “Every timeline led here. Endgame unlocked.” Public reports on Wednesday, May 20, identified the post as the couple’s engagement announcement.

The announcement drew congratulatory messages online and added a personal milestone to Reyes’ long-running career in entertainment.

Reyes, 37, is represented by Viva Artists Agency, which lists her as an actress. Her screen credits include The KingdomDearly BelovedMartyr or MurdererMaid in MalacañangUntrueMaria and No Other Woman.

Tingson has been publicly identified as a former chairperson of the National Youth Commission, the Philippine government agency involved in youth development policy and programs.

Reyes was previously married to mixed martial artist Ali Khatibi, with whom she has a daughter, Amarah. The former couple married in 2016 and separated in 2019. They are co-parenting their daughter after their separation.

The engagement adds a new personal chapter for Reyes, whose career has remained visible across film, television and public entertainment.

No wedding date has been announced publicly.
