Philippine Airlines is #2 Top Travel Brand in S.E. Asia, #1 in the Philippines

Philippine Airlines (PAL) has placed second in the list of Top 10 Travel Brands in Southeast Asia for 2024. The second-place ranking puts PAL of most Southeast Asian carriers, as well as other airlines from Asia, Australia and the Middle East.

The Philippine flag carrier received top scores for buying experience, customer service and domestic brand awareness.

PAL was rated the top travel brand in the Philippines, achieving a best brand score of 63.15%, with the Campaign Asia-Pacific publication hailing it as “a firm favorite among Filipino consumers”.

“We are happy and proud to be recognized as a top Southeast Asian travel brand, and we continue to explore more ways of further elevating the passenger experience all across our global network. We laud the efforts of our Philippine Airlines employees and service partners in making this achievement possible and embodying the true Heart of the Filipino in the way they care for our passengers,” said PAL Vice President for Marketing Alvin Miranda.

Airlines from Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore rounded out the top ten list for 2024.

The rankings are based on the authoritative list of Southeast Asia’s top 50 brands published by Campaign Asia-Pacific, created in partnership with research firm Milieu Insight. Campaign Asia-Pacific has spotlighted reports on the top 10 brands from markets across 10 sectors surveyed in Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam and Singapore.

The brands were evaluated using attributes such as awareness, purchase frequency, quality, buying experience, customer service, trustworthiness, innovation, customer advocacy and brand touchpoints.

Philippine Airlines also made it to the list of top ten most punctual airlines in the Asia-Pacific region for 2024, tracked by Cirium, a leading aviation analytics company based in London. Ranked as the seventh most punctual airline, PAL was the only Philippine carrier to be awarded a top 10 ranking among Asia-Pacific’s “Top Airline Performers”.
