Historic Filipinotown “Hidden HiFi” Cultural Scavenger Hunters Call on the Community to Support Them on Saturday

Participants take on Eating Challenges, HiFi Trivia, and More for a Good Cause

What: Hidden Hi-Fi is an exhilarating day of adventure for all ages! Teams of 2-4 will travel to locations all over Historic Filipinotown while performing fun tasks, solving puzzles and answering trivia at each destination– all while racing against other teams toward the finish line. All the tasks, activities and puzzles are honed to test your knowledge and skills of Filipino American history, culture, issues and the arts. Teams will explore the cultural gems of Hi Fi (Historic Filipinotown) – Team Scavenger Hunt style. Meet Filipino-specific challenges (from a Filipino Street Food eating challenge to dancing a traditional malong dance!). Participants will have fun, discover Historic Filipinotown and raise money for the HiFi nonprofits, Pilipino Workers Center and Filipino American Service Groups, Inc! Hidden Hi-Fi is a 2 hour challenge from 9am – 1pm where teams will have a chance to explore Historic Filipinotown while also completing many different cultural Filipino challenges. In addition to the challenges, teams will be given clues that will take them all around Historic Filipinotown. They will get to visit different historical sites in the neighborhood as well as get a chance to catch a ride in an authentic Sarao Jeepney from the Philippines. www.pwcsc.org/hiddenhifi/
