In celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage month, the Republican National Committee (RNC) will hold an event Saturday, May 16, at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas at 11:30 a.m.
The event will feature Republican speakers, including RNC Chairman Reince Priebus, Sen. Dean Heller (Nev.), Rep. Crescent Hardy (Nev.), US Delegate to Congress and RNC National Committeewoman Amata Radewagen (American Samoa), Nevada Lt. Gov. Mark Hutchison and Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes.
Speakers will discuss the importance of the Asian Pacific American (APA) voting-bloc in the 2016 presidential election, particularly in Nevada.
Other attendees will include members of Nevada’s Asian American and Pacific Islander community, and GOP volunteers and supporters.
The event is part of the RNC’s growing engagement with APA communities nationwide.
