HANDSOME actor Dingdong Dantes is staying with Kapuso GMA 7, and this was confirmed when he renewed his contract with the network last September 14 at the McKinley Hall of the Manila Polo Club.
Dubbed as the network’s Kapuso Prime King, Dingdong shared that he is overwhelmed with his renewal of contract, realizing his long relationship with GMA 7.? The actor has been with the network for 18 years, starting with the youth-oriented series, T.G.I.S. in 1995.
Dingdong is happy that GMA 7 has trusted him for 15 years, and continues to believe in him and his talent.? He is very grateful for that, the same way he appreciates that they support his talent as a host and his passion for directing.
As for being formally acknowledged by the network as their Primetime King, Dingdong shared that he does not feel any pressure about it.? For him, GMA 7 is his home, and everyone he works with is part of his family.
He does look forward, however, to work again with his girlfriend, actress Marian Rivera, who is considered as GMA 7’s Primetime Queen.?
