GRAMMY Award-winning artist Bruno Mars is bringing his “24K Magic World Tour” concert to Manila on May 3, 2018, at the Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena in Pasay City.
Concert promoter, Music Management International (MMI Live), confirmed the news on social media on Thursday, July 27.
The album, “24K Magic” already hit the 1 million mark of copies sold in the U.S. last July 20, according to Nielsen Music in a report by Billboard.
The tour, which began in Europe this March, will conclude in Kuala Lumpur on May 9, 2018.
The 31-year-old singer-songwriter first rose to fame in 2010 when he lent vocals on B.o.B’s “Nothing On You.” His hit singles include “Grenade,” “Just the Way You Are,” “Marry You,” “Treasure” and “Uptown Funk.” He released his third studio album “24K Magic” in November of last year.
Peter Gene Hernandez or famously called as Bruno Mars was born to a family of entertainers, one of the six children of Peter Hernandez, a Puerto Rican Jewish percussionist, and the late Bernadette San Fernando Bayot, a Filipina who migrated to Hawaii.
Mars last performed in Manila for his “Moonshine Jungle” world tour concert in 2014.
