Prepare for this upcoming holiday season

AS the weather cools, we are reminded that the summer is over.  Autumn is here, which means the Holiday season is right around the corner.  Many of us are already making plans for this upcoming Holiday season.  We are planning our vacation days, our reunions and gatherings with our families and look forward to the happy times that the Holiday brings us.  However, for many immigrants, they lament another year passing that they cannot reunite with their family.  For everyone who cannot be with their families during the holiday, it can be very a very difficult and emotional time.  We invite everyone that wants to be with their family this Holiday season to come see us.  Last year, we were able to help many clients fulfill their Holiday wishes of being with their families.
We are hopeful that immigration reform is near and soon everyone will be able to reunite with their family. However, there is quite simply no way of knowing what will happen with immigration reform and when any of those benefits will be available. For those of you who may be able to qualify for any type of benefit immediately and have simply not taken the time to apply because of money, time, or any other reason, do not wait any longer. Do not miss out on spending the Holidays with family this year and waiting for immigration laws to change; begin working on your status immediately so that you can spend this Christmas with your family. Now is the perfect time to investigate what type of benefit you may be able to qualify for.
Many people qualify for the new 601A waiver. However, few people have applied for it because of financial considerations or other reasons. This is an amazing benefit that many people are missing out on. We have watched as our clients are able to be approved for this waiver and be home with their families this year.
Many people also qualify for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).  Many people know that DACA can yield a work permit, but do not know that advanced parole (permission to travel) is also permissible under DACA.  For many of our clients, they have been able to travel legally under DACA and see loved ones.  To see the joy and excitement on their face as they prepare to see people they have not seen in some cases over 20 years is very special.
For many people, immigration reform is the only option. But there are many others who can qualify for permanent residency or some type of visa, and simply need to take the time to consult with experienced immigration attorneys to determine how the process will take place. At Wilner & O’Reilly, our attorneys have years of experience in immigration law, with former immigration officers and board certified immigration specialists ready to provide you with a consultation completely free of charge. We offer extremely favorable payments plans on all cases. Spending time with family this Holiday season may not be as difficult as you imagine. Call our office immediately to schedule a free consultation.
