Was Kris Aquino serious when she said that she plans to move here in the United States next year?
In her morning show Kris TV last June 8, Kris made told one of her guests, Karla Estrada, that she won’t be in the Philippines next year, adding that she will live in America for a year.
“Gusto ko talaga tumira sa America for one year para ma-experience ni Bimb (I really want to live in America for one year so Bimby can experience it too),” she said, referring to her youngest son, whose father is PBA cager James Yap.
“Kasi sinabi ko sa kanya na feeling ko mas naging well-rounded akong individual kasi nag-aral ako abroad. Tapos natuto ako lahat ng gawain for myself. Hello, nagugulat nga kayo ang galing ko mag-washing machine (I told him that I feel I became a more well-rounded individual because I studied abroad. Then I also learned how to do things for myself. Hello, you all were surprised that I know how to use the washing machine),” she added.
Adding that she also wants Bimby to experience taking the school bus, Kris explained that she just wants to “try.” To which, Karla quipped, “Hindi mo kakayanin, mare. I’m telling you (You won’t be able to handle it. I’m telling you).”
Kris was quick to answer that when she and her family were in exile in Boston during her grade school years, she was able to survive and that “those were the happiest years” of her life.
Of course, there was no mention if her plans had anything to do with her brother, President Noynoy Aquino, whose term ends next year.
We’ll find out and see if Kris’ plans do push through.
