CULVER CITY, Calif. — Filipino-British model Christina Nadin made her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut on Sunday, October 18, joining Kelsey Merritt among the models of Filipino descent who have appeared in the lingerie brand’s runway production.

Nadin walked in the show’s PINK segment at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California. She wore a bright pink bra with heart details, black sequined flared pants and a metallic silver jacket, accessorized with silver jewelry and a pale pink handbag.

Philippine fashion and entertainment publications identified Nadin as the second Filipina to walk in the show. Filipino-American model Kelsey Merritt became the first in November 2018, when she appeared in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in New York, also participating in the PINK segment.

Ahead of Sunday’s event, Nadin announced her participation on Instagram, sharing photographs and videos of preparations for the show. Merritt subsequently congratulated her in the comments, according to PhilSTAR Life.

The 2026 production marked the show’s return to the Los Angeles area after its two previous editions were staged in New York. The event featured performances by KATSEYE, Megan Moroney, Tate McRae and Megan Thee Stallion.

Victoria’s Secret executive creative director Adam Selman told Reuters that the runway presentation was organized around seasonal themes, with the PINK segment separating portions of the main show.

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray also attended the event. Victoria’s Secret Philippines had previously announced her participation as a special guest representing the Philippines.

Born in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, Nadin is the daughter of a Filipina mother from Legazpi, Albay, and an Irish-British father. She grew up in the United Kingdom and spent summers visiting relatives in the Philippines, according to a 2022 interview with The Third World.

Nadin began pursuing modeling as a teenager after being approached by a scout in London. At 17, she traveled from Aylesbury, England, to attend castings in the British capital.

Her career includes a runway appearance for L’Oréal Paris in September 2025, a 2022 lookbook for Kith and a 2021 advertising campaign for Guess Originals, according to the fashion industry database Models.com.

In her 2022 interview with The Third World, Nadin discussed her Filipino upbringing and her interest in supporting initiatives in the Philippines.

“I would love to be involved in a project that in some way gives back to the Philippines,” she said.

Outside modeling, Nadin founded Bahay Kubo, a Los Angeles-based hair accessories brand whose concept draws on her Filipina mother’s fashion style during the 1990s. According to the company’s website, a portion of its sales supports community-led initiatives in the Philippines.
