Vice Ganda has signed a new contract with ABS-CBN while confirming that another project involving GMA Network is planned for September, extending the comedian-host’s growing presence across Philippine broadcast platforms.

The agreement was signed Aug. 7 in the presence of ABS-CBN Chairman Martin “Mark” Lopez, President and Chief Executive Officer Carlo Katigbak, Chief Operating Officer Cory Vidanes and Group Chief Financial Officer Ricardo “Rick” Tan Jr.

ABS-CBN announced the contract but did not disclose its duration, financial terms or whether it includes an exclusivity provision.

Vice Ganda described the signing as a continuation of a longstanding relationship with ABS-CBN and said being Kapamilya remains a lifelong affiliation. The comedian-host also said ABS-CBN would continue to be involved in projects undertaken for other platforms.

GMA reported that another Vice Ganda project is expected in September, although neither network had disclosed its title or format as of press time. Reports have speculated about a possible revival of “Gandang Gabi, Vice!,” but no such project has been officially confirmed.

Vice Ganda already appears on GMA through ABS-CBN’s “It’s Showtime,” which moved to GMA Network’s main channel in April 2024 under a partnership between the two media companies.

Vice Ganda is also preparing for “The Greatest Showdown,” a film with Vic Sotto directed by Jun Robles Lana. The movie, their first big-screen collaboration, is an official entry in the 2026 Metro Manila Film Festival.

Vice Ganda won Best Actor at the 2025 festival for “Call Me Mother.”
