LOS ANGELES — In observance of Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander Heritage Month, the Asian American Advertising Federation announced on May 1 its 3AF 2026 Impact 50, recognizing 50 national brands making sustained and measurable investments in the Asian American consumer segment.
The annual list highlights companies demonstrating authentic engagement through marketing and advertising, experiential programs, strategic innovation, and long-term commitment. The 2026 honorees, selected based on their 2025 activities, include companies from the Fortune 500 and Fortune Global 500.
The federation is set to formally unveil the list during its Asian Marketing Summit on May 13.
Industry leadership and market relevance
3AF President Cheryl Lee said the honorees reflect a broader shift toward multicultural market integration.
“As brands navigate an increasingly multicultural marketplace, the 3AF 2026 Impact 50 stands out as leaders in building authentic, lasting relationships with the Asian American community,” Lee said. “Their work demonstrates that meaningful investment is not only impactful, it is essential to the future of business.”
Selection framework
The 3AF said brands were evaluated based on several criteria, including demonstrated marketing activity targeting Asian American audiences, cultural intelligence and authenticity, strategic execution and visibility, and evidence of commitment beyond one-off campaigns.
The list was compiled by industry experts, many with more than three decades of experience in Asian American advertising and marketing. Additional nominations from veteran practitioners outside the organization were incorporated to ensure broad coverage of 2025 industry activity.
