Philippine Consul General to San Francisco Neil Ferrer attended the United States Coast Guard Sector San Francisco’s Change of Command Ceremony on May 24, 2024 at Yerba Buena Island in San Francisco.
The Change of Command Ceremony, a time-honored tradition, saw the relief of Captain Taylor Lam, and the assumption of Filipino-American Captain Jordan Baldueza as Commander of the U.S. Coast Guard Sector San Francisco.
During the ceremony, Rear Admiral Andrew Sugimoto, Commander of the 11th Coast Guard District, U.S. Coast Guard, delivered remarks highlighting the accomplishments of Sector San Francisco under the leadership of Captain Lam.
