One of our friends of out school was a personal friend of Pope Francis and was gifted a pair of his shoes when Francis died. The Shoes will be present at the Mass and displayed. \nWhere: St. Genevieve Schools\, 13966 Community Street\, Panorama City CA 91402.\n(Parking will be available in this lot. Mass will be held in our school gym.) \nWhen: Friday\, May 2nd at 11:15am. \nAdditional Details: \nSt. Genevieve Parish Schools is a Pre-School through 12th grade Catholic School in the San Fernando Valley that has been education the young people of Panorama City since 1951. The high school has been recognized as a National School of Character and our high school choir took home two first place medals in the World Choir Games in 2024 held in Auckland\, New Zealand.

DESCRIPTION:The City of Carson will be presenting the E-Waste Recycling & Paper Shredding event on May 3rd.\n\nThis year’s E-Waste Recycling & Paper Shredding is a free event to Carson Residents with proof of residency. All paper will be shredded on site with a limit of 2 file boxes or 2 small bags per resident. No books\, 3-ring binders\, metal clips or magazines will be accepted. There is a limit of 4 E-Waste items per household such as televisions\, computer monitors\, laptops\, tablets\, cables/wires\, cellphones\, telephones\, speakers\, printers\, fax machines\, DVD players and microwaves. Hazardous waste items that will not be accepted include batteries\, fluorescent light bulbs and glass.\n\nFor more information\, please call (310) 847-3500.
