The younger generation of Filipinos here in the United States need to know their culture. Kaisahan of San Jose has opened a path for the Filipino-American youth to be educated about their roots. Through the sounds of ethnic music and authentic dance movements, Kaisahan captures the essence of being Filipino—having an identity and being proud of it.
